Feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts?

Learn the everyday skill of managing your mind so you can feel calmer, think clearer, and respond with confidence.

Two upcoming sessions starting: 5th March 2026 and 16th April 2026

Most people notice a difference from the very first session.

You're not alone in this

Does any of this sound familiar?

Your mind races at night

Replaying conversations or running through tomorrow’s to-do list. You want to rest, but your thoughts won’t let you.

You react instead of responding

Something small happens and you snap. Later, you wonder why you couldn’t just stay calm.

You've tried meditation apps, but nothing sticks

They promise peace, but you feel like you’re doing it wrong. Or it works for a day, then life gets busy again.

Despite everything you've achieved, you still feel exhausted

On the outside, you’re managing. On the inside, you’re running on empty, and you don’t know how much longer you can keep going.

Without learning to manage your mind, these patterns continue. They affect your work, your relationships, and your wellbeing.

But here’s the thing: it doesn’t have to be this way.

There's a better way: mind management

Most people learn to manage everything except their own mind.

We’re taught to think, plan, and solve problems. But no one teaches us how to manage our mind doing all that thinking.

That’s the skill this programme builds.

This isn’t therapy.
It’s not traditional coaching.
And it’s not simply meditation.

It’s mind management training.

A practical approach to working with your mind, instead of against it.

You’ll learn how to direct your attention, regulate your emotions, and respond with clarity instead of reacting on autopilot.

It’s simple. It’s structured. And it works.

Because when you know how to manage your mind, everything else gets easier.

Meet David

David knows what it’s like when life becomes overwhelming.

After losing his wife and father within weeks of each other, he collapsed from exhaustion. For three years, he lived with chronic fatigue, anxiety, and depression.

With little support and no clear path forward, he turned to the one thing that had helped him before: mindfulness.

By deepening his practice, he learned how to manage his mind through one of the hardest periods of his life by using simple and easy-to-grasp tools and techniques.

And it worked.

David became one of the less than 5% of chronic fatigue sufferers who fully recover.

That’s when he realised just how life-changing mind management is and decided to share his experience and knowledge with as many people as possible.

Today, David brings over 51+ years of life & corporate experience from multiple CEO and board advisory roles to living with profound loss.

He teaches what he’s lived: that positive awareness is a skill anyone can learn.
And one that changes everything.

Testimonials

"For the last few months, David Butcher has been my mind management coach and it has been a truly wonderful experience so far in many ways. Before Xmas, he talked me through how he thought he could help me on a personal and professional level and whilst I was open to this at the same time I thought everything about how I lived was fine. No surprise - it wasn't. Facing up to the reality and admitting change was needed was the first step and I haven't looked back. Mind Management offers options and reminds us that our responses to everything in life do not need to be linear. Being present is all we can be - reliving the past or imagining the future is more a distraction than a help. David has helped me understand and appreciate that mind management is a cognitive skill with a foundation in self-awareness and presence. I first met David 3 years ago and knew instantly he was one of a kind - he is the perfect coach and someone I appreciate very much”

“David's Mind Management sessions have genuinely been one of the most practical and grounding things I’ve done for managing work-life pressure. What I found most valuable was how applicable everything felt - not about switching your brain off or pretending stress doesn’t exist, but learning how to pause, reset and respond differently when things feel overwhelming. Since finishing, I’ve noticed I’m better at catching stress before it spirals, creating space between thoughts and reactions, and being kinder to myself on busy days.”

“Amazing! This course is on a different level to other courses I have attended. Everything is clearly explained with the focus on developing skills. I feel re-energised and re-focussed with a new confidence that I have the skills and techniques to work with my mind rather than it working against me. The handouts are great and the meditations incredibly helpful. Everybody needs these skills and David is in a league of his own as a teacher and mentor. He is passionate, completely authentic and provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. I regard him as a guru”

“It was a great pleasure to have David along to give a Lunch and Learn session to the DC Investment Forum about the importance of mindfulness. David’s calm and focused presence is, in itself, a testament to the power of mindfulness. I think we could all do with more of it in the pensions world! Everyone who attended the session came away knowing more about mindfulness, and with a better understanding of what a powerful tool it could be for pension fiduciaries.”

“We recently had the pleasure of hosting David Butcher at a lunchtime session for Sackers staff on mindfulness and its relevance for the pensions industry. Drawing on his own professional and personal experience, David highlighted the importance of developing self-awareness in the workplace as a crucial part of improving inclusion and diversity of thought. Applying this to the pensions industry, he showed us how improving self-awareness is key to the successful development of EDI strategies and in turn to the success of organisations. Thank you David for a fascinating session, which was well delivered, engaging and extremely thought provoking.”

Not at all. This programme is designed for anyone. Whether you’ve never meditated before or you’ve tried and struggled to make it stick, this is for you.
Life happens. If you can’t make a session, you’ll get a recording so you can catch up in your own time.

We recommend short daily practice, usually 10-15 minutes. It’s about consistency, not hours of your day.

You’ll receive a welcome email with all the details, like session dates, how to join, and what to expect. Then we start altogether in the first session.

This programme helps with stress, overwhelm, racing thoughts, and emotional reactivity. If you’re managing your mind through everyday challenges or bigger struggles, you’ll find tools that help. And to be clear, this isn’t therapy or counselling; it’s developing the skill of managing your mind.

Most people notice a difference after the first session. But like any skill, the benefits grow with practice. Show up, stay curious, and give yourself space to learn.
Mind management training for a calmer, clearer life.
